  • Google allows you to create where you can install and rearrange small modules that provide useful features for you to learn and enjoy. If you haven't already, check it out, it's amazing and it's free! ;-) We have created the "Jargon of the day" module that displays an excerpt of random terms extracted from the jargon file, so you can learn while playing around your personalized Google experience. The list of random terms is updated every hour and you can customize the number of items to show. Pretty handy!

Since version 4, the Google toolbar comes with a lot of exciting features such as Enhanced Search Box, Pop-up Blocker, Spellcheck, PageRank Display, Highlight Search Terms, WordTranslator and much, much more, including Custom Buttons ...so we have created one that makes searching the jargon file glossary easy as pie! All you need to do is highlight text from any website and click the JargonDB button.

    If you don't like to spend the time customizing stuff check out these goodies. It's just about small javascript code snippets that you can add to your browser favorites allowing you to extend the capabilities of your browser, with the power of javascript. Here you can find bookmarklets (and easily see their code) for all major browsers, including Firefox, Opera and MSIE.
